The Hyundai i30 N has already convinced Auto Bild Sportscars readers in its first full sales year: the compact sports car has received the coveted title of “Import Winner” in the small cars & compact category in the “Sports Cars of the Year 2018”. Hyundai’s first high-performance model was chosen over seven established models, from the likes of Honda, Peugeot and Renault.

The great popularity of the Hyundai i30 N (fuel consumption in l / 100 km urban 10.7, extra-urban 5.9, combined 7.7, combined CO2 emissions g/ km: 176) is also reflected in the sales figures: on the German market alone, more than 6,000 vehicles of the N model have been ordered.

To be recognised as “Import Winner” by Auto Bild Sportcars readers is a great achievement. This award tells us we succeeded in our goal for the i30 N to deliver pure driving fun for our customers in an affordable package. Customer interest in our first high-performance model has exceeded all expectations, and this is only the beginning for Hyundai N.

Hyundai N’s name and reputation were established in global motorsports. Since its inception in 2015, N has performed at the highest level, racing with success in the FIA World Rally Championship, the Nürburgring’s VLN series, the TCR International Series, Pirelli World Challenge, and the gruelling Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race. Hyundai’s competition-honed N vision and philosophy come to life in a systematically structured product portfolio of world-class consumers and competition vehicles, including halo models built around high-performance powertrains and chassis that deliver outstanding vehicle dynamics.

With the launch of the elegant i30 Fastback N (fuel consumption in l/ 100 km: urban 10.7, extra-urban 5.9, combined 7.7, combined CO2 emissions g/ km: 176), Hyundai further extended its N range in 2018. The new N Line, characterised by N-specific design and performance-enhancing elements, further widens the range of choices available to customers. These vehicles will be instantly distinguishable by their differentiated design elements. Finally, N Options will offer N-produced customisation parts for drivers who desire improved performance and distinction.
