SEOUL, October 19, 2026 - Hyundai Motor Company today unveiled the new ELANTRA N MONOCHROME, a new edition model that expresses the essence of Hyundai N’s performance through a restrained, monochromatic design.
The new model brings together the heritage of the ELANTRA N, Hyundai N’s motorsport-inspired character and a focused design concept captured by the phrase “Understated Yet Undeniable.” A consistent monochromatic treatment throughout emphasizes the vehicle’s silhouette, materials and performance-oriented details.
The ELANTRA N MONOCHROME is planned for launch in Korea, Canada and Australia, with plans to expand to other global markets. Market-specific sales information to be announced separately.

Having listened to customers’ voices for a toned-down high-performance model, we restrained visual emphases and focused on form, texture and material to create a monochromatic rendition of the ELANTRA N that is understated, yet undeniably N.6

What Makes ELANTRA N MONOCHROME Distinctive?
ELANTRA N MONOCHROME applies a cohesive, monochromatic theme to selected exterior and interior components, creating a more restrained expression of the high-performance sedan.
Key features include:
- Monochromatic-themed exterior and body-color details
- Newly designed forged wheels
- Revised details across the front and rear bumpers, side sills, brake calipers, and rear diffuser
- Carbon-fiber rear spoiler and mirrors
- A performance-focused interior treatment, including a Monochrome-only Alcantara steering wheel with buttons finished in black
- Alcantara materials used on select interior components
The model will be available with two body-color options, Abyss Black Pearl and Performance Blue, subject to market availability.
The ELANTRA N MONOCHROME will be offered in two trim configurations: a Basic Trim featuring a black-themed design and Alcantara interior materials along with an Upper Trim which includes additional carbon-fiber rear spoiler and mirrors.

The ELANTRA N MONOCHROME is designed to reflect the history and character of the ELANTRA N through a mature and restrained visual language.
The monochromatic approach draws attention away from color and toward the vehicle’s form, proportion, texture and performance-oriented details. It is intended to capture the evolution of the ELANTRA N and its connection to Hyundai N’s motorsport heritage, from competition vehicles to road-going performance models.
The design concept is built around three ideas:
